Leisa Askew Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leisa Askew of Opelika, Alabama, who passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Vernon Askew and Gloria Mann Askew; her grandparents, George Calloway Mann and Rosemary Patton Mann; her uncle George Patton Mann; her aunt Madeline Mann; her cousin Sandra "Sandy" Mann Brown; and her pets, Blondie, Charlie, Maybell, Honey, Darby and Hamlet.
She is survived by: her brother David Askew (Paula); her nephews, Alexander Calloway Askew and Granger Patton Askew; her close friends, Becky Martin, Leah Martin and Elizabeth Copous (Dale); and her pet Abby. She is also survived by first cousins and many special friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:55 PM at the Jeffcoat - Trant Chapel. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
