He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Mae Whaley and Grover Harmon; his children, Dona Gaylene Harmon and Jackie Harmon; his granddaughter Savannah VanHouton; and his siblings, Gene, Harvey, Jimmy, Maudine Dewberry and MaryAnn Proctor.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo; his children, Robin Harmon, Diana Preston (James), Jeanette Harmon Tompkins, Jennifer Smith (Cory), Tracey Phillips (Brian), Jenny Beck, Jeff Beck and Kelly Luke; his grandchildren, Rebecca, Austin, Nicole, Chris, Kameron, Carl, Kaylie Kaden, Ean, Eli, Samuel, Shyanne, Katherine, Cierra, James, Travis, Casey, Kristina, Courtney and Karter; and his brothers, Donald and Roy Harmon (R. S.).
