She is survived by: her siblings, Verleane Taylor Almond (Aaron) of Opelika, AL, Gertrude Payne of Killeen, TX, Burnett Adams of Brooklyn, NY and Tommy Taylor (Alice) of Auburn, AL; and her siblings-in-law, Minnie Gosby of Opelika, AL, Sheree Lockhart of Auburn, AL, Johnnie Dowdell of Auburn, AL, Dora Lockhart of Auburn, AL and Billy Philpot of Auburn, AL. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Harris Funeral Home Chapel (515 S 6th St, Opelika, AL 36801).
