He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Cole and Minnie Bell Cole; and his sister Carolyn Harris. He is survived by: his wife Janice Tyson Cole; his children, Wendy Nasworthy (Jimmy) of Tifton, Laurie Weaver of Orlando, MeLissa June (Alan) of Newnan, Patricia Michael (Ian) of Manchester, Georgia and James Emfinger (Virginia) of South Chesterfield, Virginia.; and his siblings, Dorothy Burt of Cusseta and Gary Cole (Brenda) of Opelika, Alabama.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
