She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Adams and Orah McGullian Adams; and her father-in-law Bill Martin. She is survived by: her sons, Stan Martin (Sophia) and Joel Martin (Jan); her grandchildren, Allen Martin (Tiffany) of Opelika, Melanie Blackmon (Will) of Opelika and Caroline Compton (Ben) of Opelika; her great grandchildren, Allen Martin III (Claire), Langston Martin (Avery), Mary Chapman Martin, Ellie Grace Martin, Palmer Blackmon and Hank Blackmon; and her great great grandchild Hazel.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Garden Hills Cemetery (1218 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Church (800 2nd Ave, Opelika, AL 36801).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity Methodist Church, The Lee County Food Bank, or the Village Friends organization.
