He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, cousins and other family members.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:45 AM at the Frederick-Dean Funeral Home & Crematory (1801 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. Born on December 1st, 1939, in Alderson, West Virginia, Ron lived during the Great Depression, World War II, the Korea conflict, Vietnam, President Kennedy's assassination, the moon landing, 9/11, the Global War on Terrorism, and the COVID-19 pandemic.
