He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Wilson and Jeanette Wilson Meadows. He is survived by: his wife Jane Campbell Wilson; his siblings, David Wilson and Lynne Wilson Hudson (Jeff); his children, Perri Wilson Speigner (Levale), Ticer Wilson (Emily) and Mary Carlton Wilson Grantham (Joe); his grandchildren, Campbell Speigner, Grant Speigner and Banks Grantham; and his nephews, Wilson and Andrew Hudson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Opelika (301 S 8th St, Opelika, AL 36801). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Opelika High School Baseball Program via Bart Butler, First Baptist Church of Opelika, or Spencer Cancer Center.
