Sarah Barron Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2025, at the age of 96, Sarah Barron (Opelika, Alabama) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sarah Barron to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Clifton Chafin and Ella Mae Thompson Chafin; and her husband James Walter Barron. She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Lei Barron of Opelika, Amanda Lou Sexton (Lance) of Tuscaloosa and Mary Lisa Mullins (Tim) of Opelika; her grandchildren, Sophia Corbitt (Blake) and Noori Barron Mallaji; her great grandchild Hiram Corbitt; and her caregivers, Rebecca, Chris, Meghan and Ree.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home (1500 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
