He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Walker; his daughters, Amanda Senn (Shane) and Cheryl Fells (Patrick); and his siblings, Jean Padgett (Glenn), Florence Wilson (Archie) and James Walker (Shelly). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Frederick-Dean Funeral Home & Crematory (1801 Frederick Rd Suite A, Opelika, AL 36801). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
