The family announces the passing of Ted Brazell (Opelika, Alabama) on September 25, 2026. Ted, born on January 30, 1952 in Saint Louis, Missouri, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Ted will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Ted by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Ted is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Ted’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Brazell (Grimes); his son Craig Brazell; his daughter-in-law Lanie Stuebe Brazell; and his grandsons, Trot, Tagg and Tipp.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home (1500 Frederick Rd, Opelika, AL 36801). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
