She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Howard and Bessie Howard; her husband Luther Fewell; her brothers, Kenneth Howard, Louis Howard and Phillip Howard; and her brother-in-law Harvey Miller.

She is survived by: her children, Angela Shelton (Darrell) of Opelika, AL, Wade Jones (Rechea) of Opelika, AL, Jay Jay Jones (Rachel), Kimberly Baker and Cynthia Noland (Jeff) of Gordo, AL; her sisters, Shirley Miller (JW) and Linda Miller; and her grandchildren, Kambri (Daniel), Joshua (Dezi), Kyle, Kelsey, Kaleigh, Jordan, Hayley, Brayden, Gyma, Skylair, Haley, Emmy Shae' and Dillion. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Ridge Road Baptist Church (5474 Lee County Rd 390, Opelika, AL 36804).
