He is survived by: his wife Gertude Hill Guice of Opelika, AL; his children, Jaqualine Dawson (Stanley), Tyrone Guice (Nisa) and Dwayne Guice (Consuela); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Guice Christian, Jaquel Dawson, Thomas Dawson (Brenda), Skye Guice, Devin Guice, Christian Guice, Trinity Guice, Dwayne Guice, Jr. and Ethan Guice; his great grandchildren, Deandra Heizer (Andrew), Kourtnie Guice, Remaea Christian, Jaylen Christin and Naomi Davis; and his sisters, Mary Lois Wood of Notasulga, AL, Mary Feagin of Richmond, VA and Annie Lois Royal (Walter) of Athens, AL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The lying in state was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bell Missionary Baptist Church (348 Foster St, Auburn, AL 36830). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
