He is survived by: his son Antonio; his grandchildren, Amari Dorey of University Place, WA, Kai Dorsey of University Place, WA, Taya Dorsey of University Place, WA and Kyliah Dorsey of University Place, WA; his siblings, Earnestine Dorsey of Opelika, AL and Lorenza Dorsey (Bettye) of Auburn, AL; and his cousin John E. Richardson of Montgomery, AL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The lying in state will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul A. M. E. Zion Church (713 Powledge Ave, Opelika, AL 36801). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
