She was predeceased by: her parents, B. O. Bodiford and Ollie Dean Bodiford; her daughter Debbie Jackson; and her sister Jewel Saunders (Margarette Battle). She is survived by: her husband Dwanis Sasser; her children, Terry Phillips (Cecelia), Gary Phillips (Kristie), Patsy Glover (Rick) and Janie Sasser; her sisters, Daphne Jones (Sam) and Betty Battle; and her grandchildren, Angela Brannon (Tim), Natalie Jackson and Taylor Roberts (Kevin). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wyatt Funeral Home (1018 Florala Hwy, Opp, AL 36467). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
