We bid farewell to Betty Parker Weeks of Opp, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 25, 2025 at the age of 88. Betty touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mollie Mae Parker and Walter Thomas Parker; her parents-in-law, Will Weeks and Daisy Weeks; and her brother Thomas Parker (Fern Parker).
She is survived by: her children, Mark Weeks (Shelly Weeks) and Tina Kaufmann (Andy Kaufmann); her brother John Parker (Jo Anne Parker); her grandchildren, Adam Weeks, Parker Owen, Anna Douthit (McKelvy Douthit) and John Thomas Owen (Maddie Owen); and her great grandchildren, Bennett Owen, Lydia Douthit and Hampton Owen.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the First Methodist Church. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests consideration of a memorial in Betty's name to the First Methodist Church in Opp, Alabama.
