It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christy Dawn Shaw of Opp, Alabama, who passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 20, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Aaron Ross (Edena) and Terri Shaw; her siblings, McKayla Phillips (Kody), Leah Chadwick, Steven Shaw, Emma Gentry, Maddie Gentry (Alonso Wesley), Wesley Gentry and Chyenne Reese (James); her siblings' children, Asher, Delilah, Da'Khari, Nevaeh, Lavonte, Devontae and Xavier; and her grandmothers, Beth Shaw and Lynn Moates.
In honor of Christy's life and in support of others who may be struggling, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in her memory.
