It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clyde Lynn Phinney of Opp, Alabama, born in Atlanta, Texas, who passed away on June 19, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Phinney and Ruby Phinney; and his brothers, Kenneth Wayne Phinney, Jr., John Everett Phinney, James Edward Phinney and Raymond Steve Phinney.
He is survived by: his wife Shannon Phinney of Opp; his siblings, David Wade Phinney (Suzianne Ammons) of Loango and Bessie Alice Baker (Willie Ross Baker III) of Andalusia; his grandchildren, Amelia Marie Lawson and Adaline Brook Lawson; his brother-in-law Aubrey Dale Pike (Shannon Davis); his nephews, Austin Phinney, Christopher Lee Phinney and Kenneth Wayne Phinney I, III; and his sister Janice K. Phinney.
