She is survived by: her husband John W. Courson; her children, Laura Lynne Courson Fernandez (Mike), Susan Courson-Smith (H. B.), John W. Courson II (Dawn) and Matthew Courson; her sisters, Evelyn Craven and Peggy Strawder; and her grandchildren, Kristen Shepard Topping (Brad), Nicholas Shepard, Emily V. Courson, John W. "Wil" Courson III, Ellie Pearl Courson, Sloane Harper Courson and Nick.
