She was predeceased by : her husband Joseph Owens; her son-in-law Ronnie Dean Boyett; and her parents, Vonceil Meriwether Parr and Bobbie Lee Parr. She is survived by : her children, Vilinda "Vicky" Owens Boyett, Gwendilia Owens Murrah (Davy), Vernon Owens (Karen), Dwayne Owens (Donna) and Henry Owens (Amy); and her siblings, Eloise Sims and Richard Parr (Alecia). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces & nephews.
