She was predeceased by: her parents, Sara Shirling Jimmerson and Leland Curtis Jimmerson. She is survived by: her husband Benny Rushing; her children, Curtis Rushing (Patty), Michael Rushing and Delicia Rushing Barrow (Steve); her siblings, Leland Jimmerson (Shirley) and Marion Hoffman (Mark); and her grandchildren, Bryant Rushing, Bryce Rushing, Jada Bess Butler (Garrett), Jordan Bess, Jenna Bess and Tyler Rushing.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Babbie Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
