In the vast expanse of eternity, Gwen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gwen farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband William R. Dorman; her sons, David Dorman and Mark Dorman; and her sister Joyce Fleming. She is survived by: her children, Donna Blair, Jennifer Jordan (LaDon) and Gary Dorman (Margaret); and her brother Melvin Lavon McKay. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel (1018 Florala Hwy, Opp, AL 36467). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at the Beulah Cemetery (16612 Maggie Rd, Opp, AL 36467).
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Aveanna Hospice.
