She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Hawkins and Virginia Hawkins; her husband Henry Hamner Studstill; her sister Joelen Hawkins Blanchard; and her in-laws, Henry and Julia Kate Studstill.

She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret Anne Barton (Rowdy) and Julia Leigh Taylor (Clark); her granddaughters, Dr. Madyson Taylor Moore (Robert) and Anna Kate Taylor; her stepgrandchildren, Josie Barton Moatts and Coleman Barton; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Luna and Ember Moatts; and her siblings, Garnet Hawkins Edmunds and John Hawkins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the Opp First Methodist Church in her name.
