It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Sorrells (Opp, Alabama), who passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Abe Madison Sorrells and Annie Caroline Sorrells; his sisters, Ursey Dell Nichols (Chester Smith), Annie Clyde Jones, Betty Sue Griffin (Amos Smith), York Smith, Agnes Ellis, Tots Boland (Bobby Duncan), Bell Odom Johnson and Carroll Sorrells; and his nephew Randall Paul Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette McCullough; his daughters, Melissa Ellis (Jerry) of Opp, Susan Hubbard (Mike) of Auburn and Julie Moody (Rothel) of Opp; his grandchildren, Drew Mims (Laura), Mallory Dunn, Clayte Hubbard (Maggie), Trey Moody (Ellie), Riley Hubbard and Caroline Moody; his great grandchildren, Parker Mims, Cooper Mims and Jackson Mims; his sister Peggy Ann Henderson (Jake); and his brother-in-law Marvin McCullough (Lurlene). He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
