He was predeceased by: his parents, Tera Haughton Ellison and Porter Ellison; and his siblings, Tommie Lee Ellison, Wilburn "Red" Ellison, Hurtis Ellison and Jean Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Exie Wise Ellison; and his sons, Anthony Ellison (Michelle), Steve Ellison (Kim) and Chuck Ellison (Amy). He is also survived by eight grandchildren & five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.
