With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James A. Cameron of Opp, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 10, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James A. may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vivian Gause Cameron and Clarke Cameron; and his sister Cecelia Burdick. He is survived by: his wife Yuvonne Frazier Cameron; and his sisters, Christine Cahow and Beverly Allen (Clavie). He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel (1018 Florala Hwy, Opp, AL 36467). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at the Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens (Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens, AL-52, Opp, AL 36467).
