James O. Simmons Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on March 30, 2023, at the age of 87, James O. Simmons of Opp, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Woodham Simmons and John Cecil Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Joy Manring Simmons; his children, Sherri Simmons Jeffcoat (Jimmy) and Scott Simmons (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Brian Wesley Simmons, Matthew Roy Simmons, Zachary James Jeffcoat, Johnny Lewis Saunders and Ryan Landry Saunders. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
