We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2025, at the age of 93, Joe Donald Graves of Opp, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Moody Graves and Lucy Sauers Graves; his grandson Jake Graves; and his siblings, Billie Ellison, Lucy Charles Brewer, Steve Graves and Merrill Graves.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Lewis Graves; his children, Becky Owens (Jimmy) of Trinity and Jimmy Graves (Sherry) of Asheboro; and his siblings, Annie Kelly (Danny) of High Point, Rita Rhew of Florida, Jerrie Hancock of Florida, Johnny Graves (Nancy) of Asheboro and Tommy Graves (Cheryl) of High Point.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (5160 New Hope Church Rd, Asheboro, NC 27205).
