With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joy Wilson of Opp, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 28, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maebell Taylor Cooper and James "Red" Cooper; and her sister June Clark. She is survived by: her husband James Douglas Wilson; her children, Daron Wilson (Staci) and Jana Wyatt (Tim); her sister Deb Jackson (Larry); her grandchildren, Drew Wilson, Meri Crutchfield (Justin), Anna Wyatt and Ashlyn Wyatt; her great grandchildren, Layton Wilson and Weston Crutchfield; and her close friends, Barbara Harrison, Alison Clark, Jane Hogg and Bridget Faulkner.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Westview Baptist Church or Mizell Memorial Hospital Foundation.
