He was predeceased by: his father Luther Corbitt. He is survived by: his wife Fay Holloway Benton; his children, Patti Blount (Bill), Penni Grissett (Tim), Polly Hall (Ronald), Scott Marler (Tonya) and Leigh Marler Colvin; his grandchildren, Jeremy Hartzog (Misty), Stephen Hartzog, Courtney Grissett Pierce, Ethan Grissett (Britany), Sam Thomas Grissett, Lydia Grissett, Alana Hall Holland (Brandon), Brady Hall (Karen), Emili Marler Fowler (Matthew), Jerad Marler and Madison Colvin Lumpkin (Steven); and his sister Emily Benton (Sonja). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
