She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Earl Carter; her children, Thomas Eugene Carter and Gloria Ann Carter; her parents, James Lawrence and Buna Lee Cobb Williamson; and her siblings, Oscar Williamson, Willie C. Williamson, Curtis Williams, Allene Atkins, Ida Ruth Gordon, Merle Wise, Cupadine Knowlton and Wilma Jean Williams.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Kathy Carter; and her granddaughter Kasi Carter Waege (Buddy).
