It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matha Palmer Huggins of Opp, Alabama, who passed away on August 18, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil Huggins; her daughter Janet Huggins Dillard; her parents, Lucille Hudson Palmer and Sam Palmer; her siblings, Hazel Lee (Hurley), Sybil Davis (Dalton) and Eugene Palmer; and her brother-in-law Charles Bush.
She is survived by: her son Dennis Huggins (Pam); her sisters, Cathryn Bush and Myra Hughes (Harrison); her son-in-law Dwight Dillard; and her grandsons, Derek Dillard (Amanda) and Shane Dillard (Roxann). She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
