He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey McKay and Emma Page McKay; his grandparents, O. J., Sidney Donaldson McKay, James Harvey and Ruby Smith Page; his wife Virginia Mae Morgan McKay; and his sisters, Gwen Dorman and Joyce Fleming.
He is survived by: his daughters, Glenda Bradford (Taylor) of Sylacauga, Linda Clarkson of Opp and Joan Stewart (Terry) of Gantt; and his grandchildren, Amanda Stewart Windham (Kelly), Emily Bradford Wilkins (Chris), Jonathan Stewart (Heather), Andrew Clarkson (Tamberli), John Bradford (Courtney) and Melanie Clarkson Mock (Stuart). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel (1018 Florala Hwy, Opp, AL 36467). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Beulah Cemetery.
Floral arrangements are accepted and memorials may be made to the Opp Church of Christ.
