He is survived by: his wife Shirley Moore Spivey; his son Mark Spivey; his grandson Luke Spivey; his sisters, Leonia Lolley and Martha Moore; and his nieces, Permelia Griner and Teresa Gore. He is also survived by numerous other nieces & nephews.
