Mildred Short Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Short of Opp, Alabama, who passed away on January 2, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband James A. Short; her siblings, Betty Beasley Jones and Emmett Dawson Beasley; and her parents, Katie Rachel Beasley and Charles Emmett Beasley.

She is survived by: her sister Doris Beasley McCann (Boyd); her nieces, Beverly Beasley Tomberlin, Linda Jones McDaniel (David) and Julie McCann Mollohan (Doug); her nephew Tim McCann (Trish); her great-nephews, James Scott Tomberlin and Brian Keith Tomberlin; James Cameron Tomberlin.
