We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2025, at the age of 104, Retha Hardage of Opp, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Retha departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Retha. Though Retha may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mammie Barnes Johnson and B. B. Johnson; her husband Clinton Abe Hardage; and her siblings, Ferrin, Gladys Gulley, Merle Anderson and Lecie Holley.
She is survived by: her son Haywood Hardage.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens (508 AL-52, Opp, AL 36467).
