With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Royce Nelson (Opp, Alabama), who passed away on January 1, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lula Morgan Nelson and L. M. Nelson; and his siblings, Vertice, Nell, Beulah, Lois, John, James, Robert and Frank.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Phillips Nelson; his daughters, Beverly Nelson Chesteen (Darren) and Leighan Nelson Lashley (David); his sister Sannie Ramer; his grandchildren, Hannah Chesteen Powell (Jared) and Holt Lashley (Dani); his great grandchildren, Carson, Colden Powell, Isaiah and Avery Lashley; and his friends, Kyle, Kajuanna and Kyla Rhodes. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
