She was predeceased by: her husband Gailon W. Nelson; her brother Foster C. Owens; and her parents, Daisy Powell Owens and Charlie A. Owens. She is survived by: her son Gailon O. Nelson; her daughter-in-law Lori; and her daughter Maria Sheppard. She is also survived by five brothers; one sister; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.
