He was predeceased by: his parents, Lottie Thompson (Greathouse) and Iules Thompson; and his siblings, Elizabeth Taylor and Joel Thompson. He is survived by: his brothers, John Thompson and Bennie Thompson (Sherry). He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel (1018 Florala Hwy, Opp, AL 36467). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens (Peaceful Acres Memorial Gardens, AL-52, Opp, AL 36467).
