She was predeceased by: her husband Wendell Blount; her children, Nicole Blount and Devin Blount; her siblings, Ruth Simmons and David Kimbro; and her parents, Gertrude Kilpatrick Kimbro and James D. Kimbro.
She is survived by: her sons, Doyce Blount and Daniel Blount; and her siblings, Glenda Kimbro Clark (Charlie) and Terry Kimbro. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews.
