It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Daniel McCombs in Orange Beach, Alabama, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on February 6, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, David shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid David farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley McCombs; his sister Mary Ann Weber (Richard); his nieces, Amy Jones (Chad) and Anne Rose; and his nephew Bob Rose.
