With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Betty) May Karcher McDuffie (Orange Beach, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 20, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Captain Carl Winston McDuffie; her parents, Dorothy Karcher and Edmund Karcher; and her brother Bob Karcher. She is survived by: her daughter Sheryl McDuffie Jones; her great grandchildren, Mary Katherine, Bryson, Ellie Jones, Cameron, Grayson, Halston, Finn and Easton McDuffie; Jimmy Jones of Greenville, Captain Ricky McDuffie (Eva Workman McDuffie) of Orange Beach, Lynn McDuffie Hodges of Summerdale, Alabama., Ty Jones, Adam, Alex McDuffie, Reed, Carli and Blake Hodges. She is also survived by her family and many friends.
