She is survived by: her husband Norman Scruggs; her children, Jason Scruggs (Amanda), Jeffrey Scruggs (Molly) and Bonnie Shelly (Scott); her sisters, Louise Beech and Mary Lee Pettus; and her grandchildren, Allison Kate Scruggs, Hudson Blake Scruggs, Reece Bryan Scruggs, Sarah Grace Shelly, Hannah Faith Shelly, Trey Neal Shelly and Taylor Price Shelly. She is also survived by her family, friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Foley Chapel (2551 S McKenzie St, Foley, AL 36535). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Springhill Memorial Gardens (6100 Three Notch Rd, Mobile, AL 36619).
