She was predeceased by: her daughter Shana Cole; her daughter-in-law Lisa Busby; her granddaughter Breanna Busby; and her siblings, Dalton Copeland, Deward Copeland, Ouida Lunsford, Lurlene Henry and Mary Dunning.
She is survived by: her husband Howard Godsy; her children, Buzz Busby, Babs Bender (Lee) and Mitzi Rollins (Brook); her grandchildren, Kaylon Cole (Shanna), Brandon Tucker, Will Busby, Christina Nelson, Lee Bender (Heather), Jennifer Rollins, Sarah Rollins and Brook Rollins (Serena); and her caregiver Julia Powell.
The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in memory of Janet Godsy to Orrville Baptist Church P.O Box 236, Orrville, AL 36767 or the Ronald McDonald House of Alabama.
