We bid farewell to Betty B. Nelson of Oxford, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 14, 2025 at the age of 92. Betty touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Butterworth and Lena Butterworth; her husband Frank Nelson; her sister Alice Brooks (Gail); her brother-in-law B. L. Brooks; and her daughter Kim Davis.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathleen Farr (Mac); her son-in-law Jeff Davis (Kristi); her grandsons, Zach Davis (Noel), Brock Davis (Mandy), Jonathon Crocker, Justin Crocker, Jeremy Farr (Casey), Daniel Farr (Kali) and Kevin Farr; and her great grandchildren, Blair Davis, Zoey Davis, Hazel Davis, Jayden Bouchillon, Lena Farr, Evan Smith, Kate Farr and Jase Farr.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Oxford's student ministry or senior adult ministry, causes close to Betty's heart.
