Charles William Peterson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles William Peterson of Oxford, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 17, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Peterson and Dorothy McGrath; and his nephew Brian Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Peterson; his siblings, Ed Peterson (Julie), Roseann Daly (Peter) and Patricia McGrath; his siblings' children, Amanda (John), Julie Ann (Sean), Christine, Ryan (Elizabeth), Zachery (Grace), Austin and Tyler; and his close friends, Joe Dumas and Alfredo Salvador.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (1301 Golden Springs Rd, Anniston, AL 36207). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
The family will accept flowers or donations can be made to Mary's Garden at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Wounded Warriors, Tunnel to Towers, or the American Cancer Society.
