He is survived by: his wife Betty Painter; his children, Eric Painter (Stephanie) and Sharon Johnson (Don); his grandchildren, Troy, Cole (Natalie), Amanda, Elizabeth and Megan; and his sisters, Rachel Hughes and Doris Leibrock. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Forestlawn Gardens (730 Golden Springs Rd, Anniston, AL 36207).
