Though Denise may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Denise touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her son Michael James Perry; and her parents, Sidney Champion and Eunice Champion. She is survived by: her husband Monroe Perry; her children, Candice Perry (John Lynn) and Joshua Perry; her grandchildren, Matthew Perry, Kadence Raper and Olivia Lynn; and her brother Winford Champion (Patti). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (50 Hamric Dr E, Oxford, AL 36203). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
