It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald E. Herring Sr. of Oxford, Alabama, who passed away on June 4, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Herring; his parents, Lovic Herring and Dovie Herring; and his siblings, Lou Black, Beatrice O'Brien, Walter Herring, Sarah Phillips, Daisy Burleigh, Frances Boyd, John Herring and Betty Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Donnie Herring (Connie) and Wendy Doss (Brian); his grandsons, Brandon Herring (Shelby) and Bryant Herring; and his great grandchildren, Ashton Sanders and Landon Herring. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
