He was predeceased by: his parents, O. W. Holmes "Sherlock" and Cecil Holmes; his sisters, Sarah F. Tipton "Si" and Mary Nell Curry "Baby"; and his daughter Dana Louise Holmes.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Holmes; his daughters, Cheri Holmes Cook and Lana Holmes; his granddaughter Heather Cook Winner; and his great grandchildren, Myka Ace and Hailey Winner. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
