It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwona K. Cofer of Oxford, Alabama, who passed away on February 20, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wendell Cofer; her great grandchild Brandon Angles; and her daughter-in-law Ann Cofer. She is survived by: her children, Dianne Bolton (Gary), Lisa Perkins (Butch), Bob Cofer, Jim Cofer (Joanne) and Frank Cofer (Teresa); her grandchildren, Cynthia Cross (Kelly), Melanie Lopez (Val), Lauren Perkins, Angie Briendl, Michelle Beckum, Stew Cofer (Bethany), Chris Cofer (Valerie) and Jeff Cofer (Bevin); her great grandchildren, Tiffany Jeffers (Kristin), Ellaina Blakenship (Ryan), Samantha Lopez, Noah-Henry Lopez, Gabriella Lopez, Kevin Cross (Ashley), Kaleb Cross (Taylor), Robert Beckum, William Beckum, Matthew Breindl, Ashley Breindl, Emily Bedard and Julia Bedard; and her close friend Wilda Patterson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
